Arizona Senate votes to repeal 1864 abortion ban
Arizona Democrats have secured enough votes in the state Senate to repeal an 1864 law banning abortion. Two Republicans joined Democrats to support a repeal bill, which narrowly passed the House last week. The bill will now be sent to Governor Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, who is expected to sign it into law and officially repeal.
